Goodnight friends! Temperatures still dropping, below 5°c for much of the day – down to about 1°c after dark fell – accompanied by a dull ashen sky and thin pecking drizzle. Tapestried rugs of leaves denser and more colourful, layer on rain-pasted layer. Trees more gaunt and skeletal by the day, split-open cages of crooked black wires. Folded-parasol huddles of collapsing and sprouting mushrooms, a rubbery scent of growth and decay.

Can feel the weather pains hitting me hard in the joints, an icy burn a little like when swallowing something much too cold. Extra care and concentration needed to stay functional taking some extra wind out of me. A fun one-shot with the TTRPG crew taking me out of it for a while in the evening.

May we find nourishing moments of pleasure and indulgence today!
