Goodnight friends! A soft misty grey start that smouldered away after a few hours and treated us to another revelation of soaring, cascading pale blue rolling on away and away beyond trees and fields and lanky pylons. The past few days here, turning so drastically towards brightness and warmth after weeks of seemingly endless rain in the region, have caused ferns and nettles to explode upward, layers upon layers of dense green-glowing undergrowth swallowing up the boles of trees.
Livelier again, though I spend my new stock of energy fairly quickly, a little over-ebulient – starting the day with a workout, which I’ve been missing out on while here, then packing up to go home. The rest of the day has mostly been idled away in recovery, which feels less bad while it’s hovering around 20°c and I can watch dappled light shimmer below trees.
