Goodnight friends! Brash white wall of early rhododendrons now spent, clenching and shrivelling rapidly in the heat. Platinum-bright ears of orchard grass beginning to spread and feather, glinting in bright fitful sunlight. Streaky grey clouds gradually thickening toward a stipple of humid evening rain.

A little bit of a recharging day after being active and social yesterday, spacing things out more and staying well within my sense of my limits, feeling myself flag and pain bloom in my joints as the pressure dropped. Pecking on and off at some drawing in a relaxing way.

May we find a sense of clarity and purpose in our lives today!

Photo of light filtering down through the layered canopy of a sycamore-maple, leaves a shattered, dancing mosaic of black and gold, contrasted by the deeper green of the ash and linden tree to either side.
