Goodnight friends! Up to 25°c, jammy humid warmth even when the sky was wide and crystal blue. Lazy flutter of wild grasses still cool and damp at the roots from overnight rain, seedheads of pincushion wild plantains and shaggy foxtails swaying. Flat starbursts of cat’s-ear leaves and huddled speedwells between the sticky streaks of trimmings where lawns have been mown short. A brief sizzling downpour in the afternoon like a bubble being burst, a sweet steamy billow of green and earthy scents.

A productive muddling around kind of day, some drawing, studies and ideation for potential future work, some household tasks too – all at a fairly even pace, not having to take huge breaks. Summer weather fairly kind for now, pressure changes not seeming too dramatic.

May we find moments of stability and serenity in our lives today!
