Goodnight friends! Slanting, silver-glinting sunlight early in the day, but swiftly the wind brought on clouds, a flat smooth gunmetal sheet that pressed down with slow interminable force. Cold cutting force behind the breeze, not hard but still mean and forceful enough to winnow away at the blossom, grey in the muted light. More blue sparks of squill in the grass, along with a rich rising tide of greenery, swelling every day. Shining crane’s-bills, creeping buttercup, broad lolling tongues of alkanet, each preparing their own splashes of colour.
Step by step figuring out a slightly better schedule I hope, slept a bit longer and better despite the continuing feeling of a grinding chill in my joints. Easier to go from one activity to another without such huge rests needed in between, too.
May we allow ourselves to admit and take ownership of both our mistakes and successes today!
