Goodnight friends! March coming to an end with a luxurious spring day, sky still expansive and fair, thin ribbons of cloud trailing on milder breezes and a fairly consistent 17°c. Weaving, probing flight of a orange-rumped tawny mining bee on the search for loose soil. Fresh sprigs of green moss clinging to the blistered and carbuncled trunks of bare old oaks. Coconut scent of tall gorse thickets in the full yellow splendor of flowering.

Still a vague trail of not-quite illness, my lymph nodes feeling back to normal but briefly sore throat from time to time and short periods of congestion, both disappearing for most of the day but rearing seemily at random. The easiest explanation still seems to be vaguely ‘chronic illness stuff.’ Otherwise meandering along quite happily, a little tired from slightly disturbed sleep, another chance to swap my regular walk for hitching a lift to the park with my girlfriend.

May we find tenderness amd mutual care in our lives today!
