Goodnight friends! Warm and mild, still with that hint of humidity not entirely dispelled by a soft sighing breeze sending cascading, nodding ripples of purple seedheads across the tall grass. Pompon canary yellow hawksbeard flowers shudder. Clammy lingering dew gleams at ankle level.

Somewhat listless and slow, unsurprisingly after yesterday’s outing. The warm, even weather helped my joints not to stiffen too much, but I think my sleep schedule is slowing my recovery. A mild sore throat tickle the past few days, could be fatigue, or could be a summer cold coming on. Hopefully not, and hopefully at the least I’ll know tomorrow.

May we find rest and replenishment today!
