Good evening friends! More cloud cover and thicker more humid air along with it. Clouds clumpy and grey in wide brooding bouldery masses for much of the day, although the sun was still ablaze beyond and made its presence well known, lances of blazing brightness puncturing through every few minutes. Bees droned everywhere, swarming over clovers and snowberries, nut-brown and slender or heavy and round in coats of black fur trimmed in orange and gold.
Getting hotter still, though we haven’t yet hit the 35°c highs of last summer, and it’s a slight shock of adjustment having to manage the intense way the heat seems to swallow me up when I exercise. It took a while of sitting around drinking ice water before I felt fully myself again.
May we be eager to listen and learn, ready to grow in understanding and empathy today!
