Goodnight friends! More intense dry heat, swelling to about 27°c, and even clearer sky, almost violet dark blue at its apex. The air has a parched, grassy taste to it like oats toasted in a hot pan. Half-lolling thin, wiry antennae of hawksbeard and plantain seedpods catch streaks of light sliding down through the canopies. Isolated grasshopper songs swell before being softened to a low murmur by the heat.
A bit more energy, though sleep still eluding me a little and my brain worked scrapingly slow. Hopefully the last of the lingering workout muscle pangs today, spend a long time relaxing on the grass outside, slowly going through my stretches.
May we find goals and challenges that enrich our lives and help us grow today!
