Goodnight friends! A faintly promising start, the kind of limpid, very pale sky that opened up into periods of fresher, dry weather yesterday. No such luck this time though, a whisper of drizzle that slowly and implacable ramped up ove the day until an early evening downpour sizzled and blackened the pavements with an oily sheen. Huge black amd brown slugs came out in a clamour, their blunt faces glued hungrily to leaves.
Energy equalising somewhat, though thrown back a bit by pain escalating in a way that made time smear and blur later in the day. A nice session with the TTRPG group distracted me for a while, but any feeling of rest or drowsiness hard to come by with the emergency alarms of deep, stabbing aches starting up again.
May we approach our lives with a sense of play and curiosity today!
