Goodnight friends! The sky a mobile rippling patchwork, patchy showers, mountainous iron grey clouds tumbling amid blue, gilt-edged by afternoon light. Much warmer, 10°c feeling almost balmy despite continuing bustle and bluster of wind. Bright green lance-tips sprout from sheltered drifts of brown leaves.
Spacy and scattered after walking further than usual yesterday and sleeping patchily due to rain and damp. A gloomy stressful feeling of helplessness came over me for a while as I made basic mistakes all day, some of which will take a while to put right. I compensated a little unwisely for that sense of low efficacy by doing some strenuous housework, successfully raising my mood but tanking my energy level for the rest of the day.
