Goodnight friends! Flurries of rain and gutterally groaning wind through the morning as another stormy passage wore itself out. Giving way by degrees to a wan, washed out white, then to widening bright blue streaks that merged like tributaries feeding a still pale lake of evening. A wide band of coppery molten light pouring through skinny branches, pigeons grumbling and harsh cackles of magpies and I slipped and squelched in thick, treacherous mud.
Weary but at least somewhat acccomplished, despite leaden rain-chilled limbs I did by degrees manage to get through a decent amount of exercise. Not much left in me for the rest of the day, a little drawing, a lot of sitting and breathing through continued periods of wooziness. Feeling a bit more stable and in control of myself.
May we find a sense of adventure and anticipation in the delights and surprises of our everyday lives today!
