Goodnight friends! Thin, fast television fuzz of snow early in the day, leaving another mottled slippery white crust on the ground, and any surface with a slight angle it could cling to. Edges of roof tiles, outcroppings of moss on branches, every nook or hollow in a brittle pile of leaves all picked out in stark monochrome.
Managed to exercise for the first time in many weeks, after fevers and colds and days of to recuperate from activities. A real struggle, both the cold and deconditioning, two dazed, dizzy elongated breaks, but I got through it all more or less, which gives me some reassurance I still have some foundation to rebuild on what has fallen away.
May we find a sense of play and gentleness in all we do today, seeking incident and fascination rather than success!
