Goodnight friends! Boisterous rattling wind and slow avalanche sweeps of mountainous white clouds today, warmer but still with an uncertain tang of rain coming and going as the breeze shifted. Sheets of twining, clambering white bryony make tents of the lower branches of Scots pines, shading shaggy banks of mallow and black horehound.

Feeling mostly recovered already I think – only mild twinges in my arm, and otherwise not feeling particularly the worse for wear, confident enough to take a short walk and get back to drawing. I’ve delayed my regular exercise though, wanting to remain as cautious as possible.

May we find calm, through-flowing acceptance today and release from the distress of clinging to or pushing away our emotional reactions!
