Goodnight friends! Rain almost ceaseless from morning till after dark, a constant, rapid irregular tap-tap-tap that let the pale grey haze of the sky bleed down into a faint dreamy curtain across the trees and rooftops, muffling every other sound. Where grass has been trodden down by regular walkers like myself the stalks, all pressed in one direction and thickly beaded with water, have become meandering silver slug trails through the churchyard.
Fatigue feeling a little more evened out and manageable without the initial crashing shock of pain washing over me, in an adaptation phase now – adapting to manage this level of discomfort, and to gently ramping down my activity levels while finding how much I can keep doing. Hopefully will be able to reclaim some creativity and free myself from some of this distracted mental fog.
May we find joy in everyday comfortable presence and gentle companionship today!
