Goodnight friends! For today the sky seems to have wrung itself temporarily dry, the sky a silvery sun-blanched irridescent blue. Wind is a little milder but the taste of it is like the taste of a mouthful of snow, and willows still quiver, leaves twisting back and forth in waves of shifting finery, gold to silver to gold. A cormorant skimming low over the water, black cut-out shape on bright water, insolently close to clipping the heads of ducks and chattering gulls. Still seeing a few opportunistic blooms of resurgent summer flowers, taking advantage of this miniature sunny season.

Dizzy still as sleep slips through my fingers due to cooling temperatures. Mood and energy levels erratic along with my thinking and memory. Feeling dazed and still under the slow drip of housing stress which leads naturally for me to being tonguetied and self-isolated – with brief surges of inspiration and energy and vague hope for some nebulous idyllic future.

May we release ourselves from the grip of envy and jealousy today, detatching ourselves from the need for iron control and precise outcomes!
