Goodnight friends! First day of hotel holiday weekend with my girlfriend, gently simmering, balmy dry warmth, roadsides aliught with cheerleading golden splashes of ragwort, sowthistle, hawksbeard.
Gentle wandering around, beginning to gather the lay of the land, taking a swim in the pool. Everything feels so dreamlike and lovely so far, but still the unfamiliar places and extra exertion left me feeling overheated with tiredness by the evening.
