Goodnight friends! A good few degrees cooler, 13°c with a pale haze across the newly budding trees that slowly dissipated over the morning. A gauzy film of cloud persisted for the rest of the day, still bright but with a smooth, diffused quality softening shadows to a milky grey. Japanese barberries coming into full flower, more flashes of azure among the green alkanets and ruby gleams where ladybirds prowl for aphids.
Energy steady mostly today, no crashes but no feeling of being able to push or work for very hard or very long, either. Pottering around and catching up on little bits of household work today, along with some reading, drawing, writing – gradually pulling the skeins of ideas together still – and some nice slow deep stretching.
May we find and nurture a deeper connection to our sensations and emotions today!

Photo of a plump wood pigeon perched on a gravestone, bright light bringing out the subtle variations in its colouring, its breast a rumpled pillowy mass like a storm cloud, purple around the throat fading to lavender grey and then pale pink, the splash of white and oily hint of green around its almost scaly-textured nape.
