Goodnight friends! Sky clearing again, still a fierce blustery wind but feeling much drier, shovelling clouds apart into teetering mesas of white-crowned cumulus, glowering flanks mottled with the rough grey brushstroke streaks of far off rain. Light aburptly swallowed up and puddles trembled as they swiftly passed overhead and on, deep blue twining shadows of trees throbbing back into existence. Daffodils leaned low and quivered, guttering lanterns that caught the sun one moment and bent low into shade the next. Coiling pale green tendrils of white bryony flicked and shook as they groped upward.
Head still felt swollen and painfully foggy from poor sleep for most of the day, muscles gradually starting to work more smoothly as I tried for slow, carefully spaced out activities and a longer but more sedate walk. General malaise still moderate, and flaring along with my joints thanks to the changeable humidity.
May we find space and time to refocus and reflect on our goals and needs today!
