Goodnight friends! Slept a bit worse last night, after having been quite effectively reset for a while by the dark nights and dawn choruses at camp. Beginning to recover from exhaustion meant the imperative for sleep became less pressing, and the restless of pain more prominent. Aiming to counteract that a bit today by pushing activity earlier in the day and spending a soft low key evening with my girlfriend sleeping over.
Heavy, leaden grey bars sliding by among the morning’s denser, darker cloud cover, though the air still feels sweet and mild. Not too damp, a soft fresh breeze dancing in the tall grass, jostling the little round seeds in the linden trees on their slender helicopter parachute leaves. Bright yellow meadow pea flowers with their thin dark rays, spectacular bright pink wild geraniums webbed with traversing of plummy purple.
May we find ourselves surround by peace, mutual support and community today!
