Goodnight friends! Sky swallowed up by a low granite ceiling of cloud again, with several long bouts of thin, cool rain in the early part of the day. The air smells thick and rich and dank, scents of sodden earth carried on a frigid breeze that scores and furrows the water of the reservoir, stirred up to a creamy, opaque builder’s tea brown. Just as July rolls into August this feels like an early preview of Autumn.
Weighed down by the cold and wet, but another day where I was able to channel some of my restlessness and innability to move much into drawing. Aches and pains have already rolled back all my latest efforts to fix my sleep schedule. Reminding myself that progress of any kind is rarely even or linear.
May we find delight and deeper understanding of ourselves and each other by sharing ideas and exchanging experiences today!
