Goodnight friends! Heat touching 28°c, thick sweet dry scent of dessicated cut grass and lavender permeating the air above pavements that radiate waves of slow hard warmth. The sun pricking skin even through my clothes. A high, blazing vault of lapis sky, fragile scraps of cloud wandering alone until the balmy cool of evening, when soft lilac silken veils began to gather one upon the other. Feels like tomorrow might be cooler, more humid.
Sleep pretty disastrously bad, a few scratched together hours around dawn. Not sure if its down to anything but an escalating pattern and struggling with the heavy boredom of physical malaise, since pain is fairly well under control. A slow afternoon walk in the fierce summer heat felt good.
May we grant each other and ourselves, conpassion and patience today!
