Goodnight friends! Windows thrumming and vents rattling, everything in moaning, blustery flux through the morning as storm Eowyn ripped through. Fortunately this far south much of its force was diffused, but 80kmph winds have still torn down trees and caused chaos around the area. Fortunately my little enclave has been spared major disruption, mainly a few branches peeled away from raw, fibrous orange wounds and a wiry thatch of twigs scattered across the grass. Still hard, whipping winds by the time I went out but much more manageable.
My energy level isn’t feeling like its surging up post-cold now so much as gradually seeping, a sense of gradually expanding after being squashed flat for a few days. Creative impulses still shallow and quickly spent, and generally my drive and focus was low.
May we find a refreshed sense of delight and curiosity in the world around us today!
