Goodnight friends! Still a sharp, bitter breeze scouring several degrees off the temperature, even fiercer today since for brief passages the sulky flat sky that has loomed overhead for the past few days was torn open and tossed apart into pale and tattered strips. For a little while the dull orange bricks glow like honey, long gnarled shadows fall blue across sparkling emerald grass. The clouds always re-formed before too long, and a fresh scattering of drizzle would start up.
The pattern of fitful, shallow sleep and constant pangs of chilly aches radiating from my joints and core continues. Recovering from fatigue more slowly than usual and becoming exhausted rapidly. Focus is shot, managing pain taking up a lot of mental energy.
May we find habits and practises that nourish us today!
