Good evening friends! Brittle cold clarity. Sky expansively empty, water ribboned and pockmarked in dappled layers of grey from repeated freezes. Blotchy scatterings of snow in hollows and shade, brittle icy worm-casts crunch underfoot. Long, trailing pale green hazel catkins wriggle in the breeze.
Feeling the cold deeply. Body somewhat more painful and malaise not lifting much, a sandpapery creaking feeling in my bones. Not much stamina going spare for creative work, or much past necessity generally.
May we find time and space in our lives for tranquility and peaceful idleness today!
