Goodnight friends! The moon sharper and heavier day by day, swelling as it presides alone in a stark, brilliant blue sky. Pale yellow orchard grass threaded through with wires of gleaming brass as it catches the glaring scythe of the sun. A swan lunged its breast over and over into the growing expanses of ice on the reservoir, twanging, resonant chirrups and snaps ringing out as it stubbornly plowed a narrow channel of clarity into the dark and foggy mirror.
Went to a viewing today, the slow continuing grind of progress in looking for somewhere to live. Taking longer than I imagined, houses being bought up fast and COVID seeming to grit up all the gears of communication. A little alarmed by seeing people not wearing masks indoors, though at least windows and doors were open.
May we find moments of honest reflection and self-awareness that lead us to healthy, positive decisions today!
