Goodnight friends! Thankfully it seems like the sky rained itself out yesterday, leaving a wide azure vista of scattered, scudding storybook white clouds above trees whispering and piercingly green. The ground seems to flex and stretch in uneasy sleep as a brindling of shadow flits across the grass. A steel-on-steel whispering of tall sedges sliding against each other complements the hushed churring of grasshoppers as hanks of down drift by over the honey-scented meadows.

Taking things a little slow, feeling mutely suspended – trying to get as much rest as I can between a rainy workout day yesterday and my second vaccination tomorrow. My streak of drawing continues though, glad at how for so many days its been hard to tear myself away, and how gradually a language of digital drawing is starting to feel more native to me.

May we relax today and relinquish our grip on the jealous reflex to try to control events and other people!
