Goodnight friends! Slightly warmer but generally brightness fading a little and an oily feeling to the air as clouds sink lower and merge again. Scents of charcoal grills, of fruit, of mouldering leaves, hang heavy on stilled air. Pinched barking and scrabbling of squirrels as their great season of gathering kicks off.
Awoke with a dim autumnal ache in my joints, and some twinges of stiffness from exercising. As I woke up properly I fell into a similar slightly wonky but not unfulfilling routine to the one I’ve kept up most of this week. I get absorbed in drawing, I spent some time talking with friends, take a walk and bit later than I’d like but enjoy the silvery feel of our remaining long evenings.
May we find a sense of balance and harmony between the many parts of our lives today!
