Goodnight friends! A little muggy, but generally soft, spotless blue skies and suffusing warmth, every colour seeming dialled up to a hyperreal intensity under dazzling pale gold light. Prismatic yellows flash among the slow green sway of linden boughs. Honeysuckle and barbecue smoke on the air.
Really poor sleep beought on by spikes of pain that jarred me awake, not strange but unusual enough in the past few years to be startling. Recovery lagging, or maybe even being hit by a mild relapse. Gradual hours of dragging myself into wakefulness, but so long as I didn’t move much I could sit around and reserve enough focus to do some drawing.
May we grant each other, and ourselves, gentleness and grace today!
