Goodnight friends! Wind stronger again, and there were several gloomy, cooler overcast passages as thick pale clouds were driven across the sky. Overall though it’s still fairly paradisical for the season, heavy-headed magenta blossom beginning to swell on a shiny, scarified ornamental plum tree. In the grass smaller treasures, millipedes in the dark earth, hooded white deadnettle, minute flowers of pink ivy-leaved speedwell just a few millimetres across.

Managing to get on with a small bit of drawing again, and reassert my stretching routine. It took a lot out of me though, a little more fatigued feeling than I’d accounted for and I needed a lot of empty downtime between activities.

May we find moments of calm and contemplative stillness in our lives today!
