Good evening friends! The day began with heavy mists, all scale and distance swallowed up, trees fading into the soft wet uncanny grey of the sky. Egrets and cormorants both visible at weirdly immeasurable distance, the glossy blackness and searing whiteness of their feathers rendered even stranger in a thick, muted atmosphere. Strange amid the timeless cold to see the comorant’s head starting to silver, gulls faces take on their ink-dipped black ring, alder catkins swelling, all in preperation for spring.
Fatigued and dizzy most of today, taking it easy under the electric blanket as much as possible.
May we find and extend welcome and support today!
