Good evening friends! Flat, saturated grey skies back in force, intermittent murmur of light rain and a faint muffling layer of mist both squeezing down on the brightness and volume of the world. The subtle differing hues of each tree’s bare twigs seem more prominent in their quietness with few of Autumn’s roaring colours remaining, & the throaty cackle of magpies takes on an eerie depth in the fog.
Muscles and bones both creaky. A touch of delayed onset soreness from Monday’s exercise on top of the damp, but better sleep and another semi-rest day helped balance me out.
May we find gentleness and compassion within and around us today!
