Goodnight friends! A wide, bright blue sky with only the faintest stipples of cloud, crescendoing to a scorching, golden-hued 28°c afternoon with possibilities of continuing to climb back up to 37°c over the next few days. Pavement warming a little, dry grass so crisply, dazzlingly yellow it almost seems artificial and bounces a little light onto the graves and trees. Squirrels giving up on their shrill barks, only a few skinny bees on patrol for late-blooming flowers, and no crow caws, every living thing seeming a little heat-dazed.

Slow, somewhat muddled forward movement today, left hazy by distubed sleep. writing and drawing a fair amount but not in as organised or efficient way as I would have liked. Mostly tired out by mid-afternoon, but managed a little more household admin in the evening.

May we find tranquility and acceptance in our lives today!
