Goodnight friends! About the same, 25°c, but feeling warmer with fleeting, feathery clouds and blazing passages of bright blue-white sunlight. Faint jammy sweetness of blackberries and plums just beginning to touch the breeze, more and more leaves twisting and curling and catching firey colours at their edges. Floating jewels of hoverflies drift around the purple flowers of wild geraniums.
Some time spend stuck in waiting mode since I had a medical checkup this afternoon, though I did manage to push through a bit and do some writing. Once I got there I found even a brief set of measurements and a quick blood draw quite draining, some of which feels like the phantom presence of past medical experiences hanging over me. The appointment took the wind out of my plans to do further creative work in the evening, and mostly I’ve just been sitting quiet at still managing my energy.
May we find tranquility and patience today!
