Goodnight friends! A break from heavy, humid morning skies, no great winds overnight to roll in or scatter away dense looming walls of cumulus, or moderate the dry, hard heat of 28°c air. Through most of the day clouds rippled slowly overhead in a fine, dense scattering of pebbly cirrus that rarely did anything to diffuse the stark brightness and sharp-edged shadows.
General thick pain of malaise lingered overnight. Didn’t help at all with my poor sleep, but generally dissolved bit by bit over the day. A walk after lunch, braving the heat, and then a little writing and drawing. A nice long chat on the phone with a friend, too. Overall a fairly slow and careful day, a restful mosaic of small tasks and activities.
May we find greater patience and deeper thoughtfulness today!
