Goodnight friends! Swelling warmer slow degrees today after another overcast start, pale and stuffy. 25°c gradually ticked up until the sharp, clear late afternoon was 28°c and feeling hotter, nudging ominously towards 30 again. A few of the hawthorn berries starting to darken and the forked leaves yellowing in patches, metallic green flies glinting among the darkening blackberries. Patches of garden lavender almost overpowering in their sedative, herbal sweetness.
Rested through a lot of today, not many particular strains or aches coming up so far but the week’s general heaviness is making this another heavy recovery. A brief walk with my girlfriend and her dog. She took me over to her place and made dinner tonight, while the dog happily set to work licking my knee, which is becoming one of her favourite relaxing pastimes.
May we find moments of peace and tranquility today!
