Goodnight friends! Another swiftly clearing overcast morning, dry, bright 27°c heat prevailing before noon. Strong winds overnight tore down a a significant sycamore-maple limb, its broad leaves warty with little chicken-pox outbreaks of bright red nail mite galls. The wide net of linden canopies above the churchyard are full and dark with neon splashes of stippled bright green-gold. Spectacular oranges and crimsons and strobing white flickers of butterflies jostling and pirouetting around the yarrow and ragworts and buddlejas, glossy carmine candy shells of ladybirds like gemstones strewn among the grass.
My energy was still a little wobbly today, a long hangover of pain from the changes in pressure and perhaps too much activity during the heatwave still spiking, my knees and wrists and hip joints feeling sore and inflamed. Judo was pretty rough, body feeling heavy, losing stamina and mental focus easily.
May we deepen and reinforce our connections today!
