Goodnight friends! Forecast suggesting not many 33°c days left in this current heatwave. A good deal more humid today, streaky dark clouds glowering on the horizon and possibility of a thunderstorm in the early hours. A dry sienna dusting of fallen, shrivelled linden flowers across the pavements. Colonial bent and other grasses form a soft mist of silver and purple.
Not feeling quite fully recovered yet, some stiffened twangs and twitches in my mid-back. Energy returning despite the heavy heat though. I did little bits of writing, and decided to only take a walk in the evening, around 9.30pm as the sun had just sunk into a nest of scarlet and apricot clouds.
May we find moments of rest tranquility am gentleness today!
