Goodnight friends! A damp, greyish start, fine and silent drizzle from a white sky, ebbing away in the late afternoon. A little warmer, 10°c or so once the sun was out, but a faint chill breeze persisted, shaking the bright pink buds on the apple trees. Scots pine boughs brought down by yesterday’s harsher weather lay among the gravestones, scaly bark and long blue-grey needles seeming uncanny and prehistoric. More bluebells budding, a few white and pink among the darker purple.

Mostly resting up today after walking in the cold and wet yesterday. Slept badly, body aching and uncooperative, a pervasive sense of weakness and my lymph nodes feeling tender and inflamed. Gradually gained a little strength and took a short walk supported by my girlfriend, just in time to see a luttle blue sky.

May we grant each other, and ourselves, grace and acceptance today!
