Goodnight friends! A long day of very thin, whispery drizzle, hard to see and barely even disturbing gradually growing puddles. It left thin stuttering morse dashes on leaves and tumbling plum blossom petals. Eventually the drizzle exhausted itself, maybe only for a brief reprieve but there was an hour of pale blue sky slowly shading into lavender, striated by a fine gauzy drybrushing of white cirrus streaks.

Bad weather for my joints, but at least a little warmer and with not so much stopping and starting, which made things easier to acclimatise to. A bit of a pottering around day – did some more small household tasks, more of the slow jigsaw of project work. Bouncing between resting, reading, writing, drawing without much immediate pressure, the goal and shape of things still inchoate and fluid, is very fun.

May we find moments of quiet calm and tranquility today!
