Goodnight friends! Constant hollow rushing roar of wind, trees shuddering and layer on layer of low, gloomy grey cloud rushing past. Still around 10°c, but feeling coldee now. Brief high shrieks of parakeets rushing by overhead, sickle wings pumping urgently. The damp, heavy air gave way to fizzing diagonal drizzle around midday, and then to a few hours of hard, hissing rain. Celandines clenched closed, banana-yellow winter jasmine hung heavy on their branches.
Slept very badly as the pressure dropped overnight, body feeling stiff and achey, gravelly joint pain added to sore muscles and general exhaustion. Cut activity down to a gentle minimum, spaced out activities and generally ended up spacing out a lot to manage the rise and fall of pain.
May we find mutual care and support in our lives today!
