Goodnight friends! A little warmer, about 9°c, but a clinging damp haze of mist has returned and there weren’t any glimpses of blue sky to be had, grey clouds hanging low and bloated. Spreading banks of blazing yellow daffodils cut through the murk, plum blossoms like plumes of fragrant steam rising among the dark yews.
A leaden-feeling rest day after yesterday’s outing, long fatigued stretches in bed and hours oozing out into forgetful blanks. Deep feeling of cold pain in my joints. Making some compromises, carefully reducing down physical activity to speed recovery along without seizing up too much.
May we find rest and healing today!
