Goodnight friends! A hazy greyish morning again, a little cold, but dissolving gently as the temperature rose up to about 13°c by midday. We were left with a very thin veil of cloud that left the sky a uniform pale blue, punctured by a broad golden splash of sunlight. Intricate green lace of herb-robert leaves spreading across soil frothy with worm casts. Rumbling hum of buff-tailed bumblebee queens, maybe over 3cm long and ponderous, rooting among the grass for good spot to dig out a nest.
A little malaise still weighing me down, and some more slightly draining admin to do, which in combination left me feeling adrift and a little spent for most of the day. Managed a little writing and a few stretches in the evening, so felt a bit more balanced out in the end.
May we find a sense of agency and purpose in our lives today!
