Goodnight friends! Down below 10°c again, just cool enough for my breath to steam faintly in the air. Sky still low and grey, patchy drizzle over the morning gradually becoming heavier and more persistent as the thick, hazy blue of late afternoon crept on. The gravity of spring won’t be deterred so easily though, plum and cherry trees bursting into bloom and the tight whorls of hyacinth buds rising and darkening. Strident thrushes take up their stations in tge upper branches and strawberry snails with dark, flattened spiral shells clamber up the sides of damp gravestones.
Sleep disturbed by continued aches from the re-encroaching damp. A continued groggy, dizzy sensation and slow recuperation from activity, high levels lingering fatigue. A few desultory bits of admin, a little writing and editing, though still my ability to concentrate is pretty low.
May we find renewed confidence in our ability to meet and overcome challenges today!
