Goodnight friends! Temperature still hovering around 12°c, dry fresh breezes clattering through bare branches, stirring tendrilly deep blue shadows across grass all aglitter with pearls of overnight drizzle. High clear warbling in the hedges and treetops, a few bees with pollen-dusted golden bellies clambering among the feast of crocuses.
The feeling of a mild cold had dwindled to nothing by yesterday, leaving only some occasional sniffles and a rough, deepened buzzing quality to my voice. Felt relatively energised today, woke early and took a walk in the bright early afternoon, testing my recovery before committing to judo. In the end I went but kept things mostly slow and cautious, avoiding heavy sparring and prolonged drills.
