Goodnight friends! The towering clouds that reared up yesterday evening came crashing back down again overnight into another low, colourless ceiling of smothering cloud. More cold drizzle, only a few scattered half hours without a slow damp hiss of rain. Dull, muted hourless light with not so much as a vague smear to suggest the position of the sun. Flowers crumpled or tightly clasped closed, only the luminous glossy greens of wet new growth stand out from all the grey.
Still recovering a bit, though my mobility and energy have definitely improved fair bit, despite a renewed icy ache in my joints. Most of the day’s stamina was spent on household jobs and admin, along with a long gentle walk where I was only rained on about half of the way.
May we find a sense of safety and community in our lives today!
