Goodnight friends! A far milder and clearer day, a respite from rain and fog reaching up to 10°c in the early afternoon. Shadows often pale but consistent, shadowplays of chattering magpies among bare swaying branches cast onto bricks honeyed by slow golden light. Burgeoning growth of crane’s-bills and catchweed bedstraw leaves, having hung on through the winter and now bursting forth in new layers of growth.
A lot of rest and recovery today, recovering in bed until around 4 pm despite taking things fairly easy yesterday, then returning after some brief activity to stop myself feeling like I was seizing up completely. Will have to keep going slowly with the flow of my body for a little while I think as cold rainy days and bright clear ones alternate and give mixed signals to my overtuned nerves.
May we find moments of peace and quiet contemplation today!
