Goodnight friends! I feel a little silly for second-guessing myself now – it didn’t happen slowly, like I thought, but temperatures around 10°c overnight almost completely banished the snow by this morning, only a few tiny white islets left in shady hollows or marking the locations of ill-fated snowmen. Grass stringy and ragged but still mostly green, feathery fennel leaves pressed recumbent by the snow lying harmoniously with the moss. A few prickly spates of drizzle again, rapidly flitting by in a motley sky of pale blue and lead and silver.
Growing physical confidence again today, walking decently easily and able to fit in some stretches as well without feeling too shattered. That was about the limit for my ability to focus or exert myself for most of the day though, I had to take a long, slow afternoon and evening of rest so I could show up for my TTRPG group.
May we find a sense of purpose and determination in our lives today!
