Goodnight friends! No new snow still, and temperatures rising significantly beneath a steady sky of pale and washed out grey. 5°c by midday, and seemingly still rising slowly, up to nearly 10° even around midnight. Light speckling drizzle later in the day, but otherwise everything feels very muted and still. Compacted snow motheaten by footsteps, pierced by snowdrop shoots and losing its crispness, though otherwise not shifting substantially, dense and deep.
Trying to strike a balance between careful rest and keeping my body somewhat warm and active, feeling the slight hangover of lingering fatigue from a longer walk yesterday. Not quite back onto a regular habit of stretching and mobility yet but managed some today, as well as scraping away at a little miscellaneous drawing.
May we make time to listen to each other with patience and genuine curiosity today!
