Goodnight friends! Despite a more optimistic forecast we didn’t get a single break in the clouds, or so much as a feeling of change in the weather. Despite creases and rumples in the clouds the wind even seemed to still a little so the cold had a numb, drowsy feeling without the wakeful animal bite of the past few days. Sweeping headlights in the gloom painted brief scrabbling hawthorn shadows on the gravestones, and gleamed on glassy marble.
Still managing the backlash from socialising on Sunday, which is a bit disappointing. I think I got a decent amont of sleep, but it was especially hard to actually get up and mobile and I lost my energy again pretty quickly. Didn’t feel ready to try upping my walking distance yet.
May we find a sense of warmth, community and safety in our lives today!
